The first moment I realized I was falling for Grey was a small moment, a moment that would normally pass from memory. We were studying for a chemistry exam (Grey always says we had chemistry in chemistry) and I was stuck on a problem. I was wearing a necklace with an amethyst on it, which is my birth-stone, I was asking Grey a question while looking down at my paper and a few moments passed without a response from him. I looked up from my work and he was looking at me, with this intensity that gave me butterflies and made me blush, I can still remember the feeling I had in that moment like it was yesterday. I met his eyes and he said, “That is a really pretty necklace.” I don’t know why that moment was such a catalyst for me but he said so much just in that one sentence and I knew I felt the same way. A week or so ago, before our wedding, and after almost 7 years of adventures together, laughing together, and leaning on each other I asked Grey what he hoped most for in his future, now that he had become a successful dentist and was getting married. He thought for a moment and said, “I want to have children with you.” We have always talked about wanting to have kids but hearing him say that made my love grow even deeper for him. I love this man even more than that first moment when he gave me butterflies; we have a real true love that fills our hearts and will last our lifetime.
